Mechanical Fitter - Expression of Interest

We’re looking for qualified Mechanical Fitters for upcoming opportunities in Bellevue, WA.

Our client is a leader in designing, manufacturing, and maintaining over 200 railcars, offering a comprehensive portfolio that includes high-speed trains and digital mobility solutions.

• Reading, interpreting, and working from engineering drawings to assemble mechanical components.
• Performing mechanical assembly to tight tolerances using hand and power tools.
• Identifying defects and faults and rectifying them according to established quality and safety standards.
• Maintaining a safe and organized work environment in line with company and regulatory requirements.
• Supporting continuous improvement initiatives and contributing to team efficiency.

• Certificate III in Engineering – Mechanical Trade.
• Proven experience in mechanical assembly within a similar industrial or manufacturing environment.
• Strong understanding of mechanical systems, components, and tools.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
• Commitment to high safety standards.

• 6-12-month contract
• Monday–Friday | day and afternnon shift available
• Stable hours offering great work‑life balance
• $62-63/hr + Super + Penalties where applicable (such as afternoon loading)
