Warehouse Order Selector (Shipper) – Bellevue, WA
Bellevue Milk Plant is looking for a Warehouse Order Selector, also known as Shippers. As an Order Selector at our dairy facility, you will be responsible for accurately picking and packing customer orders to ensure timely delivery of our fresh dairy products. Your duties will include reading order tickets, locating and selecting products from the warehouse, and preparing them for shipment.
You will also ensure the inventory is organized and properly rotated to maintain product quality, while working closely with the warehouse and logistics teams to maintain efficiency and accuracy in our order fulfillment process.
- Read and process pick lists to select and pull milk crates to required quantities for palletizing and wrapping machines (heavy lifting).
- Use forklift to load trailers with product.
- Record correct information related to trailer numbers and store details on bill of lading.
- Follow and maintain 5S and housekeeping standards for work areas.
- Operate automated pallet wrapper.
- Complete required paperwork and iPad (Safety Chain) documentation as needed.
- Other duties as assigned by supervisor or manager.
- Split days off, must be able to work on Saturdays.
- 2 Shippers:
Split days off – Sunday off, Saturday required work, 9:30 am to 6 pm. - 2 Shippers:
Tuesday through Saturday, 9:30 am to 6 pm. - Potential for overtime for both Forklift Operator and Shippers.
Competitive wages ranging from $26.78 /hr to $35.70 /hr, but not less than local minimum wage. Starting rates will vary based on location, experience, qualifications, and any applicable collective bargaining agreement. Additional premiums for swing and grave shifts are available. Benefits include medical, dental, vision, disability and life insurance, sick pay, PTO/Vacation pay, paid holidays (7–9 days annually), bereavement pay, and retirement benefits (pension and/or 401(k) eligibility).
Qualifications- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in a food production or manufacturing environment preferred.
- Basic understanding of food safety and sanitation practices.
- Ability to follow recipes, measurements, and instructions accurately.
- Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and lift/move heavy objects.
- Attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Good communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Flexibility to work in a fast-paced production environment and adapt to changing priorities.
- Willingness to follow safety protocols and adhere to company policies and procedures.
- Availability to work flexible hours, including weekends or overtime as needed.
