Job Description:The Entry-Level Maintenance Worker will perform basic repairs of equipment, welding of consumable items, repair and rebuild of pumps, preventative maintenance on equipment, and complete work orders directed by maintenance lead, supervisors, or managers.
Supervisory Responsibilities:- None.
- Cut, bend, and weld pipe and fittings according to drawings.
- Perform daily walk through and communicate with production supervisors
- Use upkeep to track daily activities and create work orders.
- Repair of pumps including new motors, wiring, shafts, etc.
- Effectively communicate needs of supply items.
- Perform preventative maintenance according to schedule.
- Complete work orders generated in upkeep and/or communicated by supervisors or managers.
- Keep shop clean and organized.
- Inspect and identify equipment or machines in need of repair.
- Troubleshoot issues to determine necessary repairs.
- Performs general repairs that do not require a specialized technician. Examples may include repairing basic electrical equipment, replacement of 3-phase motors.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
- Ability to follow instructions from supervisors or senior maintenance workers.
- Ability to mig weld.
- Ability to use hand tools and power tools.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to work independently.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Related experience preferred.
- On-the-job training offered.
- Prolonged periods standing and walking.
- Must be physically able to climb ladders, bend, or crawl into awkward spaces.
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds at a time.

- Earned based on perfect attendance and production output of over 29 ton to 31 ton
- Paid monthly
- Pays an additional $2.00 to $4.00 an hour for regular hours worked
- Pays an additional $3.00 to $6.00 an hour for overtime hours
- One time bonus of $3,000
- One time bonus of $8,000
- One time bonus of $15,000
Please note that all new hires must pass an employment drug screen prior to beginning work.
