The Sr. Comms Manager, Postpaid will build and lead the PR strategy around T-Mobile's postpaid offerings. This means building campaigns, going deep as the subject matter expert, collaborating closely with marketing and business stakeholders, external business and agency partners, developing and executing programs and strategic communications that drive meaningful earned media with a broad range of audiences. As a trusted advisor to business leaders, this role translates business priorities into compelling stories that advance T-Mobile's differentiated value and experience narrative with media.
The ideal candidate will be a motivated self-starter who can collaborate or work independently and will bring (and execute!) bold, break-through ideas. This is a hybrid role, requiring 3 days week in the office. This position may be located in Bellevue, WA.
- Lead communications strategy and execution for T-Mobile's postpaid offerings, including benefits and other key differentiators.
- Create and execute bold storytelling ideas, opportunities and earned media strategies that break through with consumer and tech media, generate buzz-worthy coverage, and reinforce T-Mobile's leadership position.
- Partner closely with business, marketing, partner and brand teams to identify opportunities, leverage data and insights, align messaging, and deliver integrated campaigns that drive measurable impact.
- Serve as a trusted advisor to senior leaders, bringing forward bold storytelling opportunities that advance business priorities.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with media, partners, and key internal stakeholders.
- Pinch hit on a wide variety of projects for the team and in lock-step with our agency resources.
Work Experience:
- Bachelor's Degree plus 3 years of related work experience OR advanced degree with 1 year of related work experience OR combination of education and experience deemed equivalent (Required)
- Acceptable areas of study include Communications, Journalism, English, PR or related field (Preferred)
- 4-7 years of experience in communications and media strategy at a PR/marketing agency or fast-paced corporate comms/PR team
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
- In-depth knowledge of what makes news and how to manufacture coverage without hard news
- Ability to partner across the company and with different teams
- Strong writing and editing skills
- Experience developing and executing earned media campaigns for consumer brands, products or benefits a plus
- Thrives in a fast-paced culture of change and innovation; able to think on your feet and pivot on a dime.
- Ability to work independently but know when to bring relevant and timely updates to the forefront at the right time.
- Self-starter with a bias for action who takes ownership, drives momentum, and gets things done.

No Base Pay Range: $88,900 - $160,400 Corporate Bonus Target: 15%
The pay range above is the general base pay range for a successful candidate in the role. The successful candidate's actual pay will be based on various factors, such as work location, qualifications, and experience, so the actual starting pay will vary within this range.
At T-Mobile, employees in regular, non-temporary roles are eligible for an annual bonus or periodic sales incentive or bonus, based on their role.
