Certified Nurse Midwife

Overview

At Vancouver Clinic, caring for people is our first priority and the driving force behind everything we do. We are looking for a full-time Certified Nurse Midwife (CNM) to join our dynamic team. We are an expanding department that consists of 18 midwives who are all committed to serving our diverse patient population. We are part of a collaborative and collegial group of OB/Gyns and 3 MFM physicians.

We cover labor and delivery at two hospitals where we perform water births, VBAC, and assist in C-sections. In clinic, we provide routine gynecologic, wellness and prenatal care.

We are rooted in Southwest Washington, located in the beautiful Pacific Northwest. The area offers a variety of housing options and year-round recreational opportunities. Portland, Oregon, is nearby offering vibrant culture and amenities. There is no state income tax for residents of Washington.

• Provide full-scope midwifery care including labor and delivery support, water births, VBACs, and assistance in cesarean sections, in collaboration with OB/Gyns and MFM physicians.
• Deliver care in clinic including routine gynecologic, wellness and prenatal services.
• Work full-time (40-hour work week) with two clinic days and one 24-hour call shift or two 12-hour call shifts.
• Engage in leadership and teaching opportunities within the department.

• CNM certification required.
• Minimum of one year of clinical experience as a midwife is preferred.
