Healthcare Nursing, Clinical Nurse Specialist
Collaborate with Director, Clinical Director, Physicians and clinical staff to manage, assess and enhance the provision of patient care services in the Urgent Cares to meet continuous quality improvement, customer service, programmatic growth and financial requirements supporting the mission of Seattle Children's Hospital. Develop, implement and monitor staffing plans, scheduling and staff development to meet current and anticipated needs and to maintain compliance with patient safety and regulatory requirements.
This position will support both the Bellevue and North Clinics.
RequiredEducation and Experience
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
- Bachelor’s degree in Nursing.
- A Master’s degree in Nursing may be substituted provided the incumbent also possesses a Bachelor’s degree in another field.
- Minimum of two (2) years of nursing experience.
- Demonstrated leadership experience.
- Current Washington State RN license.
- National certification in a clinical specialty area must be obtained within three years of employment.
- Current Pediatric Emergency Assessment, Recognition and Stabilization (PEARS).
- For RN's performing moderately complex point of care testing, a copy of a diploma or transcript of the highest level of academic achievement to be on record with Human Resources upon hire. For personnel trained outside of the U.S., records of diploma/transcript must provide documented equivalency evaluation by a foreign credentialing agency. A copy of Bachelor's degree in Nursing or transcripts indicating attainment of Bachelor's degree (or higher) in nursing is to be on record with Human Resources upon hire.

Salary InformationThis compensation range was calculated based on full-time employment (2080 hours worked per calendar year). Offers are determined by multiple factors including equity, skills, experience, and expertise, and may vary within the range provided.
