RN Perioperative Care Unit; PCU per diem

We are currently seeking a Registered Nurse for our Perioperative Care Unit (PCU). This unit is responsible to prepare patients for surgical procedures. Patient populations include Cardio/Thoracic, Gynecology/Oncology, Bariatric, Orthopedics, Urology, Podiatry, Vascular, and General Surgery.

Day shift 05:30-14:00 / Evening shift 13:00-21:30 / Sat/Sun 05:30-14:00. 3 8‑hour shifts or combination of 4, 8, 10, & 12 hour shifts per 4‑week schedule. 1 summer holiday call shift and 1 winter holiday call shift required.

• Graduate of an accredited school of Registered Nursing required, BSN preferred.
• Current license to practice as a Registered Nurse in the State of Washington. (May be a multi‑State license from a Compact state or a Washington license.)
• 5+ years recent acute care nursing experience required.
• Healthcare provider CPR Certification required.
• ACLS certification required.
• Recent Pre‑op/Phase II nursing experience strongly preferred.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills required.
• Note - RNs hired into units that require a competency in cardiac rhythm interpretation will be required to take a rhythm assessment in their first week. This will include standard cardiac rhythms, dysrhythmias and paced rhythms.

Posted pay ranges represent the entire pay scale, from minimum to maximum. For jobs with more than one level, the posted range reflects the minimum of the lowest level and the maximum of the highest level. Some positions also offer additional pay based on shift, certification or level of education. Job offers are determined based on a candidate's years of relevant experience and internal equity.
