Pay RangeHourly $49.00 - $87.12
We are currently seeking a Registered Nurse for our Perioperative Care Unit (PCU). This unit is responsible to prepare patients for surgical procedures. Patient populations include Cardio/Thoracic, Gynecology/Oncology, Bariatric, Orthopedics, Urology, Podiatry, Vascular, and General Surgery.
Per diemDay shift 05:30-14:00 / Evening shift 13:00-21:30 / Sat/Sun 05:30-14:00. 3 8‑hour shifts or combination of 4, 8, 10, & 12 hour shifts per 4‑week schedule. 1 summer holiday call shift and 1 winter holiday call shift required.
Qualifications- Graduate of an accredited school of Registered Nursing required, BSN preferred.
- Current license to practice as a Registered Nurse in the State of Washington. (May be a multi‑State license from a Compact state or a Washington license.)
- 5+ years recent acute care nursing experience required.
- Healthcare provider CPR Certification required.
- ACLS certification required.
- Recent Pre‑op/Phase II nursing experience strongly preferred.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills required.
- Note - RNs hired into units that require a competency in cardiac rhythm interpretation will be required to take a rhythm assessment in their first week. This will include standard cardiac rhythms, dysrhythmias and paced rhythms.
