Nurse Educator - Surgical Services

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the Director and Nurse Managers to develop and maintain the clinical orientation program and competency of all nursing staff.
• Ensure that new nursing staff have the resources, support, and knowledge to provide excellent nursing care.
• Focus on Medical/Surgical and Critical Care on the evening and night shifts.
• Conduct house‑wide education, skill validation, and development of competency programs.

• Graduate of an accredited registered nurse program.
• If not holding a Bachelors of Nursing at hire, enrolled and actively pursuing Bachelors of Nursing.
• Washington Registered Nurse license upon hire.
• At least 3 years of current nursing experience in an acute care setting.

• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing.
• Master's Degree.
• Upon hire, teaching qualification or equivalent experience.

• Base pay range: $52.26 - $81.13 per hour (may vary by experience).
