Staff RN - Labor & Delivery; FTE​/Primary Charge Duties

Overlake Medical Center & Clinics invites you to work in our state‑of‑the‑art Childbirth Center, recently recognized by U.S. News & World Report as the only Washington state hospital listed among the “best” for maternity care for uncomplicated pregnancies.

Pay Range: $50.72 – $90.17 per hour.

• 0.9 FTE (72 hours bi‑weekly)
• 12‑hour shifts
• Days (7 am – 7 pm)

• Graduate of an accredited School of Registered Nursing (BSN preferred).
• Current WA State RN license required.
• Healthcare provider BLS/CPR, ACLS, NRP certifications.
• Charge experience.
• Fetal monitoring education.
• Recent or current L&D experience, circulating C‑sections, advanced fetal monitoring, and taking care of high‑risk antepartum patients.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.

Our new L&D unit is a Level3, traditional L&D unit with 12 private labor, delivery and recovery suites for bedside newborn admits, dedicated antepartum rooms and services, 24/7 in‑house anesthesia and OB hospitalists, wireless monitoring for patient mobility, a third OR for scheduled C‑sections, larger labour rooms, and an expanded OB Emergency Department. This busy unit delivers an average of 3,500 babies per year.
