American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Cardiac Telemetry position requiring WA or compact RN license and prior telemetry/dysrhythmia management experience.

• Work in the Cardiac Telemetry unit of a hospital environment
• Cardiac and CVA patient population with a 1:4-5 patient ratio
• Day shift schedule, 3x12 hour shifts from 6:45 AM to 7:15 PM
• Uses Epic EMR
• Floating may be required within the hospital based on patient care needs
• No block schedule requests permitted

• Active WA or compact RN license required
• Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS
• Minimum 2 years of specialty experience required, 3 years preferred with strong cardiac and CVA background
• Epic EMR experience required
• Skilled in interpretation and management of dysrhythmias
• Experience with Rapid Response/Code teams
• IV therapy, phlebotomy, and central/peripheral line care experience
• Previous charge nurse experience preferred

• Provide cardiac telemetry monitoring and care for patients with dysrhythmias
• Manage cardiac and vasoactive drips without titration
• Participate in required orientation modules completed and signed off by facility managers
• Maximum of 5 days RTO permitted per assignment, must be disclosed at time of consideration
• Local candidates accepted at the same rate as non-local travelers
• Former staff must be separated from the facility/system for at least 1 year before being considered for rehire as a traveler
• Travel pairs are accepted
