Manufacturing QA Coordinator
Location:
th Ave N.E., Bellevue, WA 98005
Schedule:
40 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 7:00 a.m. – 3:30 p.m. Overtime, swing, graveyard shifts and audits are possible with prior notice.
Interview process:
One‑team interview; successful candidates will be invited for an on‑site facility tour.
- Conduct regular internal audits to ensure compliance with federal, state, and local dairy regulations, including PMO standards and state‑specific requirements.
- Design, develop, and deliver comprehensive training programs on dairy regulatory requirements tailored to production staff, lab technicians, supervisors and plant managers.
- Partner with cross‑functional teams (Quality, Production, Maintenance, HR) to identify root causes of non‑compliance and implement effective corrective and preventive actions.
- Maintain accurate records of audit findings, training sessions and compliance activities. Prepare detailed reports for internal stakeholders and regulatory agencies as needed.
- Analyze audit trends and compliance data to identify opportunities for process improvement and risk mitigation.
- Bachelor’s degree in Food Science, Dairy Science, Microbiology or a related field. Advanced degree or certifications (HACCP, SQF, PCQI) preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years in a similar role.
- Strong working knowledge of dairy industry regulations, including PMO, FDA and state‑level requirements.
- Proven experience in quality assurance, compliance auditing or regulatory affairs within dairy or food manufacturing environments.
- Exceptional communication skills with the ability to effectively train and engage diverse teams.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex regulatory requirements and translate them into actionable processes.
- Demonstrated ability to lead cross‑functional initiatives and drive continuous improvement in compliance practices.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Quality Management Systems and experience with audit software is a plus.
- Candidate must be eligible for indefinite employment without unlimited work authorization.
