This classification level is responsible for arranging, conducting, and maintaining documentation for drug screenings.
Responsibilities may include collecting, disposing, and maintaining records of urine specimens; conducting drug screenings; maintaining the inventory of testing supplies and equipment; testifying in court; reporting and documenting testing results; ensuring documentation procedures are done in accordance with policies and procedures; and providing training on testing result documentation.

Requirements / QualificationsMinimum Qualifications: High School Diploma or equivalent. All educational credits must be granted from an accredited institution approved by the U.S. Dept. of Education.
Preferred Qualifications: Prior substance abuse or chemical testing training and working with the offender population.

- Utilizing communication and interpersonal skills as applied to interaction with coworkers, supervisors, the general public and others to sufficiently exchange or convey information and to receive work direction.
Incumbents may be subjected to fumes, odors, poor ventilation, hazardous materials (chemicals, blood, and other body fluids, etc.), and challenging environmental conditions, imminent danger.
Light Work: Exerting up to 20 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 10 pounds of force frequently, and/or a negligible amount of force constantly to move objects. Requires use of arm and/or leg controls and exertion of forces greater than that for Sedentary Work.
