As a primary contact for Safeway customers, the Fuel Station Manager provides friendly, courteous, and helpful service. Trains, supervises, schedules, and assigns duties to Fuel Station Clerks. Follows division guidelines for the implementation of merchandising programs. Operates computerized cash register, itemizes and totals customers purchases in the fuel station. Receive cash, check or charge payment from customer and makes change for transactions and redeems promotional coupons.
Responsible for maintaining appropriate stock and inventory in the Fuel Station area. Picks up merchandise for sale and supplies from grocery store as needed. Responsible for overall management of the Fuel Station.

“The pay range is $18.16-$25.15 per hour, but no less than the local minimum wage. Starting rates will vary based on things like location, experience, qualifications and the terms of any applicable collective bargaining agreement. Dependent on length of service, hours worked and any applicable collective bargaining agreement, benefits include medical, dental, vision, disability and life insurance, sick pay (accrued based on hours worked), PTO/Vacation pay (accrued based on hours worked), paid holidays (9 days annually), bereavement pay, and retirement benefits (pension and/or 401k eligibility).

Starting rates will be no less than the local minimum wage and may vary based on things like location, experience, qualifications, and the terms of any applicable collective bargaining agreement. Candidates with unique qualifications may be considered for compensation above this range. Dependent on length of service, hours worked, any applicable collective bargaining agreement and/or Company policy, benefits may include medical, dental, vision, disability and life insurance, sick pay, PTO/Vacation pay, paid holidays, bereavement pay and retirement benefits (pension and/or 401(k) eligibility).
Associates in this position may be eligible for a quarterly bonus, subject to Company bonus plans. Applications are accepted on an on-going basis.

Sick pay and PTO/Vacation pay are accrued based on hours worked and paid holidays are issued at 7-9 days annually.
