POSITION OBJECTIVE
The Sales Associate is responsible for supporting Management in promoting a customer and product‑focused sales culture. The role emphasizes values and guiding principles to ensure a great customer experience and maximum profitability.
FUNCTIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES- Drive for Results – Meets company sales goals by using sales techniques and communicating product knowledge. Recommends merchandise selections, assists in locating or obtaining merchandise based on customer needs, maintains up‑to‑date knowledge of sales, promotions, pricing, and visual standards, and adheres to merchandising handling, presentation, loss prevention, and all duties directed by Management.
- Seasonal & Store Maintenance – Participates in visual directives such as monthly store sets, sales floor maintenance, and ensures cleanliness and organization.
- Customer Experience – Promotes the Most Amazing Personal Service (MAPS) principles and standards, provides a cohesive omni‑channel experience, resolves customer concerns quickly, operates the register efficiently (payments, coupons, returns, exchanges, security), reinforces buying decisions at checkout (including gift card sales), signs up clients for the rewards program, builds and maintains customer following through clienteling and wardrobing, and maintains consistent client communication using clienteling tools such as Style Connect and Customer Book.
- Operational Excellence
— Supports replenishment to keep the store full, assists with local fulfillment, and follows visual directives for floor sets, window changes, signage placement, and visual presentations. - Teamwork & Growth — Promotes an inclusive, collaborative approach to problem solving, seeks personal developmental opportunities, solicits feedback, and performs other duties as assigned.

- High School diploma or equivalent.
- Retail or sales experience preferred.
- Minimum age requirements vary by state: 16+ in AZ, GA, , IL, KS, MS, MO, MT, ND, NV, OK, SD, TX, UT, VA; 18+ elsewhere.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to learn and adapt to technology provided by the company.
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills in a fast‑paced environment.
- Must be able to communicate with customers, associates, and management.
- Regular attendance is essential; flexible work schedule required, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Constant walking/standing – 67‑100% of an 8‑hour shift.
- Occasional lifting up to 50 lbs. – 1‑33% of an 8‑hour shift.
- Frequent climbing – 34‑66% of an 8‑hour shift.
The wage range for this position is $17.13 – $21.40. Final wages are based on individual qualifications.
