Overview

Lead the Footwear department by delivering expert product knowledge and an exceptional athlete experience focused on fit and performance.

Responsibilities
  • Coach teammates, drive sales, and ensure the department meets athlete needs.
  • Deliver outstanding athlete experiences by anticipating athlete needs and providing clear, accurate product information.
  • Uphold merchandising and presentation standards, including floor sets, signage, and inventory presentation.
  • Promote and lead company programs such as customer loyalty participation, warranty sales, and private‑label credit card enrollment.
  • Collaborate with the SM and ASM to develop business plans, staffing needs, and operational initiatives.
  • Develop schedules and adjust staffing to meet athlete traffic demands while achieving financial goals.
  • Provide coaching, feedback, recognition, and development for teammates; conduct performance management and promote accountability.
  • Maintain a store environment that welcomes athletes and teammates and enforces safety, loss prevention, and standard operating procedures.
  • Act as the sole leader for store oversight when required, including opening and closing, cash office, and front‑end operations.
  • Communicate departmental goals and plans to direct reports and assign workload based on skill levels.
  • Monitor progress against plans and adjust strategies to ensure uninterrupted operations and athlete support.
Qualifications
  • High School Diploma or Equivalent.
  • 1‑3 years of retail/customer‑facing experience.
  • Previous people‑leadership experience preferred.
Benefits
  • Targeted pay range: $53,500.00 – $67,500.00, based on a 38 hour work week.
