We’re looking for an enthusiastic, service-focused leader to oversee our Seafood department and deliver an exceptional shopping experience every day. In this role, you’ll maintain the highest standards of freshness, food safety, and presentation while coaching and supporting your team. From creating an inviting, well-stocked department to providing outstanding customer service, you’ll help ensure guests find the quality seafood and expertise they can trust.

• Supports and assists leadership in the needs of the department
• Provides excellent customer service
• Oversees the seafood department in the absence of the manager
• Procures product - best quality & price
• Develops creative & aggressive merchandising plans
• Orders & manages all supplies & products
• Trains & works with staff to ensure quality & standards
• Supports department sales & labor budget, grosses, and reports
• Ensures proper merchandising & signage on all products
• Supports merchandising plans
• Keeps the POS department updated on scannable price changes
• Develops & maintains vendor relationships
• Keeps up on industry trends/standards/changes
• Role models' attitude of service to staff and customers
• Manages, maintains and tracks shrink & inventory
• Maintains department cleanliness, product freshness, & variety
• Ensures the dissemination & adherence to all company policies
• Adheres to proper waste management and recycling procedures
• Maintains adherence to all security & safety policies

• Seafood experience and a passion for seafood
• Excellent customer service skills
• Flexibility to work mornings/afternoons/evenings/weekends/holidays
• Demonstrates self-discipline and accountability
• Must be accurate and detail-oriented
• Ability to build and maintain effective relationships and trust with a diverse group of staff, customers and vendors
• Emphasis on selling and merchandising/creativity
• Must possess intermediate computer skills including MS Office
• Ability to have full body mobility (bending, stooping, twisting, & reaching) and have excellent manual dexterity
• Excellent listening, verbal and written communication skills
• Must possess a strong desire to work hard, be enthusiastic, participate in achieving management goals, and lead by example
• Willingness to take calculated risks to maximize sales
• Exemplifies health department standards
• Must be a team player, a leader and a positive role model
• Must be able to lift 50lbs regularly and occasionally more
• Ability to work in a constant state of alertness and safe manner

Entry Level Compensation: USD $29.35/Hr.

Maximum Compensation: USD $29.70/Hr.
