Retail Associate/ Customer Service, Customer Service Rep
Location: SEA-Bellevue, WA
Responsibilities- Plan, coordinate, and facilitate events (including kids birthday parties) within the store to provide a stress‑free, fun, and engaging experience for guests.
- Deliver friendly customer service by helping customers shop and find items; ensure a fast and friendly checkout experience.
- Perform operational tasks including truck unload, merchandise duties, and maintaining store recovery standards as needed.
- Plan and coordinate multiple events simultaneously, engaging clients of all ages (4–94+), creating an environment of fun and creativity.
- Instruct party participants in craft projects, perform face painting and other activities; facilitate add‑ons such as goody bags and balloons to company standards.
- Communicate events with clients and store team members; complete administrative tasks (emails, phone calls, paperwork).
- Adjust plans based on client feedback; create backup or emergency plans.
- Ensure client satisfaction and uphold cleanliness and safety standards; set up, break down, and clean before and after each event.
- Help customers shop, locate products, and provide solutions; engage on Rewards program and Private Label Credit Cards, complete enrollments.
- Educate customers on Voice of Customer (VOC) survey.
- Assist with Omni‑channel processes (BOPIS, SFS).
- Participate in truck unload, stocking, planogram processes; complete merchandise recovery and maintenance.
- Perform Store in Stock Optimization (SISO) and AD set duties as assigned; support shrink and safety programs.
- Adhere to SOPs and company programs; promote a positive image and serve as a role model.
- Cross‑train in Custom Framing selling and production.
- Energetic, enthusiastic, personable.
- Excellent people skills; able to handle job stress and interact effectively with guests of all ages.
- Good communication skills (written, verbal, non‑verbal).
- Organizational skills, interpersonal skills, creative problem‑solving.
- Experience working with children and children’s events.
- Retail and/or customer service experience is required.
Ability to remain standing for long periods, move throughout the store, bend, lift, carry, reach, and stretch. Lifting heavy boxes and accessing high shelves by ladder or similar equipment. Work may include nights, weekends, and early mornings.
Work EnvironmentPublic retail store setting, climate‑controlled public areas; some stock rooms may not be climate controlled; occasional outdoor work retrieving carts or unloading trucks. Frame shop contains glass cutter and heat press. Work hours include nights, weekends, and early mornings.
Pay RangeTotal Base Pay Range: $17.13 – $20.00 per hour.
