Role Overview
The Group Sales Manager at Inter Continental Seattle Bellevue, a luxury hotel within Pyramid Global Hospitality, will manage group and catering sales, aligning customer preferences with hotel services and driving revenue growth.
Responsibilities- Respond promptly to incoming group/catering opportunities within defined parameters.
- Refer opportunities outside parameters to appropriate sales associates.
- Collaborate with the Director of Sales and Marketing and other sales channels to coordinate efforts.
- Analyze market trends, competitor strengths, and economic conditions to inform sales strategy.
- Ensure all business is booked in line with hotel parameters and finalize deals to maximize revenue.
- Generate proposals, write contracts, and handle all related customer correspondence.
- Transfer accurate booking information to the Events department per brand standards.
- Identify and implement process improvements and best practices.
- Resolve customer issues arising from the sales process and communicate escalations to leadership.
- Deliver exemplary customer service, building strong relationships and brand loyalty.
- Minimum of 2 years of group sales experience in hospitality.
- Relevant university or college degree or equivalent professional experience.
- Strong knowledge of hotel revenue management concepts, pricing, and inventory control.
- Excellent selling, communication, and relationship‑building skills.
- Ability to diagnose market dynamics, identify opportunities, and develop strategies.
- Proficiency with proposal generation, contract drafting, and sales reporting.
Salary range: $80,000 – $90,000 per year. Additional benefits include health, dental, vision insurance, a 401(k) plan with company match, paid time off, and standard hotel employee perks.
