Regional Market Manager, Hardware – Pacific Northwest – Remote (Washington / Oregon, United States). 50% travel required.

Responsibilities
  • Lead the Pac NW Hardware sales team as a virtual employee.
  • Manage, lead, and set the strategic vision for all Hardware Territory Managers and locations within the region (Washington, Oregon, Idaho, Alaska).
  • Drive region sales growth, profitability, listings, conversions, and market‑share acceleration under the 2‑step distribution model.
  • Establish relationships with top accounts and key personnel.
  • Maximize digital acceleration through Salesforce, Showpad, and Business Warehouse to improve efficiency and transformation.
  • Effectively manage budgets (T&E, Targeted Funds, Demo Tool, etc.) to achieve profitability within Farm and Hardware.
  • Work cross‑functionally with SBD teams, including National Account, marketing, operations, finance, and supply, to drive sell‑through across all SBDK brands and strategic business units.
  • Communicate opportunities, issues, and trends to management and marketing.
Qualifications
  • 4-year college degree (required).
  • 5 to 10 years of industry and sales experience.
  • Demonstrated success in promotions and events through creativity and problem‑solving.
  • Proficiency with IT business systems (Business Warehouse, , Tool Commerce) and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Financial acumen – ability to understand basic balance sheets, drive profitable growth, and understand the 2‑step distribution model and customers (Ace, Orgill, Do It Best, True Value).
  • Willingness to travel 50% of the time both in and out of state and ability to lift 50 lbs. or more.
Benefits & Compensation

Target Cash Compensation: $115,000 – $186,000 (base salary plus variable cash compensation). Eligible for sales incentive plan or commission.
