Siemens, a global powerhouse in electrical and electronic engineering, is looking for a seasoned sales engineer with experience in selling Low/Medium Voltage power distribution products in the Los Angeles market.

This position will be remote/hybrid in the greater LA market.

• Development and support of Distributors and Electrical Contractor opportunities with an additional focus on achieving projects through the area Construction Channel.
• Provide market presence and channel support in the fore-mentioned market to achieve share growth.
• Fully utilize Sie Sales as the tool to develop and forecast contractor opportunities.
• Product support including but not limited to:
  Panel boards, Switchboards, Medium Voltage gear, Lighting Panels, Low Voltage Switchgear, Busway, Motor Control Centers, Molded Case Circuit Breakers, IEC/NEMA Control, Safety Switches, and Residential Products.
• Build and maintain a business plan by cultivating a healthy sales pipeline by uncovering new opportunities, following up on leads, and managing the existing customer base.
• Develop and implement plans for strategic accounts that exceed expectations in revenue retention/growth, account profitability, and customer satisfaction/loyalty.
• Build long‑term relationships with senior management at key customer accounts, solution partners, and the channel.

• Bachelor’s Degree (a combination of education, such as an HS Diploma or GED equivalency, and directly related work experience will also be considered).
• 5+ years of sales experience.
• Ability to travel 5% of the time.
• Applicants must be legally authorized for employment in the United States without the need for current or future employer‑sponsored work authorization.

• BS in Electrical Engineering preferred.
• 5+ years of experience in selling to local electrical contractors is a requirement.
• 5+ years of sales experience with LV/MV power distribution product line.

The actual wage offered may be lower or higher depending on budget and candidate experience, knowledge, skills, qualifications, and premium geographic location.
