Position Objective
As the first core technical commercial hire in North America, you will act as a "full-stack" tech-sales champion. You will partner directly with the CEO to drive market penetration across automotive Tier 1 suppliers, robotics R&D labs, medical/rehabilitation institutions, and ergonomic research centers. You will translate Texensor’s proprietary hardware/software technology into compelling commercial solutions and secure long-term B2B accounts.
Key Responsibilities
- B2B Business Development:
Identify, pitch, and close high-value enterprise accounts across multiple verticals, including automotive (smart seating/OCS), robotics (data-capture gloves/apparel), smart home, and medical wellness. - Technical Consultation & Demos:
Conduct deep-dive technical presentations and live product demonstrations of our flexible pressure sensor systems to clients' R&D, engineering, and procurement teams. - Client Account Management:
Act as the primary technical point of contact for North American enterprise clients, managing the full sales cycle from initial discovery and RFQ (Request for Quote) to system integration and post-sales relations. - Cross-Border
Collaboration:
Act as the strategic interface between North American client requirements and our domestic R&D/engineering teams in Asia, ensuring precise localization of hardware/software APIs. - Industry Exhibition & Launch:
Spearhead Texensor’s presence at premier industry trade shows (e.g., National Ergonomics Conference & Ergo Expo) to generate high-quality pipeline leads and secure Letters of Intent (LOI). - Market Intelligence:
Gather competitive intelligence and local market feedback to influence Texensor’s product roadmap, pricing strategies, and marketing initiatives for adaptive cushions and smart apparel.
Required Qualifications & Education (Strictly Required for USCIS Compliance)
- Education:
Bachelor’s Degree or higher in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Robotics, Biomechanics, Business & Technology, or a closely related technical field. - Experience:
5+ years of proven track record in B2B technical sales, application engineering, or account management within the sensor, industrial automation, test & measurement equipment, or specialized hardware industries. - Versatility:
Proven ability to navigate multiple complex B2B industries; experience selling into automotive OEMs/Tier 1s, academic research labs, or medical device sectors is highly preferred. - Technical Savvy:
Strong foundational understanding of data acquisition (DAQ) systems, sensor calibration, software API integration, and electronic components. Ability to read technical blueprints and whitepapers. - Communication:
Exceptional verbal and written English communication skills; ability to articulate complex physical/data concepts to both executive decision-makers and engineering leads. - Growth Mindset:
Thrives in a fast-paced, autonomous startup environment. Willingness to travel domestically for client visits and major trade shows (up to 30%).
