Senior Ready Mix Sales Representative

Cal Portland is seeking a Senior Ready Mix Sales Representative to drive growth of its ready-mix concrete business within a defined territory. In this role, you will build and manage relationships with contractors, developers, and key commercial accounts, identifying project opportunities and delivering technical, solution-based sales. You will collaborate closely with operations and logistics to ensure reliable deliveries and high customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute a sales strategy to grow ready-mix concrete revenue in an assigned territory
• Identify, qualify, and close new business with contractors, developers, and distributors
• Manage and deepen relationships with existing customers to increase share of wallet and retention
• Collaborate with operations, dispatch, and logistics teams to ensure reliable product delivery and customer satisfaction
• Provide technical product support, mix recommendations, and project-specific solutions
• Prepare and present pricing proposals, bids, and contracts in line with company guidelines
• Maintain an accurate sales pipeline and customer data in CRM tools
• Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and project opportunities within the region
• Participate in job site visits, pre-construction meetings, and customer reviews to ensure project success
• Meet or exceed assigned sales targets, margin goals, and activity metrics
