Senior Sales Associate

Music & Arts seeks a Senior Sales Associate to drive sales and deliver exceptional service in our retail store. In this role, you'll guide students, parents, and educators in selecting instruments, rentals, accessories, and lessons that support their musical goals. You'll lead by example on the sales floor, mentor associates, manage merchandising, and support store operations including POS, inventory, and opening/closing.

Ideal candidates have strong retail sales experience, excellent communication skills, musical knowledge, and a passion for supporting music education in a collaborative, student-focused environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide consultative sales support for instruments, rentals, accessories, and lessons
• Deliver high-quality, student-focused customer service to students, parents, and educators
• Lead by example on the sales floor and support achievement of store sales goals
• Mentor and support junior sales associates with product knowledge and selling techniques
• Process sales, rentals, and lesson enrollments accurately using POS systems
• Assist with merchandising, pricing, and maintaining store presentation standards
• Support inventory tasks including receiving, stocking, and cycle counts
• Help with store opening and closing procedures and basic cash handling
• Collaborate with school service reps and local educators to support programs
• Uphold company policies and contribute to a friendly, inclusive culture
