Unarmed Security Officer

• Maintain a safe and secure environment for customers and employees while providing general unarmed security duties.
• Promote safety by observing, correcting, and reporting hazards.
• Understand and comply with Prosegur and client requirements, as well as specific post instructions.
• Participate in training and become familiar with general safety procedures.
• Interact with clients, visitors, employees, and the public in a professional manner.
• Be customer service oriented with basic to intermediate computer skills, and effective written and oral communication skills.
• Perform routine foot patrols, moderate lifting, and work in all‑weather elements as an unarmed security officer.

This position requires significant physical activity throughout the shift. Officers must be able to:

• Walk and stand for extended periods (including multiple rounds and patrols of up to 1–2 miles per shift).
• Frequently climb stairs, ramps, or ladders as required by site patrol routes.
• Work indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions.
• Maintain alertness and situational awareness during all patrols.
• Occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.

Pay Rate: $27.00

• 18+ years of age
• High School Diploma or GED required
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
• Clean driving record and valid driver license
• Capable of following complex instructions
• Strong interpersonal skills
• Willingness to participate in the company s screening process, including drug screen and background investigation
• Knowledge of security operations and procedures
