Job Overview
We are looking for an experienced Maintenance person, who is highly motivated and detail-oriented, to join our team as a Maintenance Engineer at Inter Continental Seattle Bellevue. The candidate will perform a variety of maintenance trade functions, including installation, maintenance, and repair of equipment, HVAC, painting, wall repair, tile work, and upkeep of the preventative maintenance program.
Responsibilities- Perform general maintenance of building and facility mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems.
- Carry out general electrical repairs on appliances, house wiring, air conditioning systems, switches, fixtures, and motors.
- Repair plumbing fixtures, piping, drains, and sanitary systems.
- Repair woodwork, wall vinyl, doors, windows, carpeting, and other miscellaneous items.
- Maintain general mechanical equipment such as pumps, compressors, water heaters, automotive equipment, and related components.
- Keep logs of completed tasks and maintain records as required by company policy.
- Prepare and submit reports and logs to supervisors in a timely manner.
- Experience working in a maintenance role at a hotel or resort.
- Knowledge of household repairs, including carpentry, electrical, and plumbing.
- Engaging and welcoming personality with excellent communication skills.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Passion for creating an exceptional experience for all guests.
- Availability to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays.
- Physical ability to walk, stand, reach, crouch, bend, push, pull, and lift up to 50 lbs during the shift.
- Base salary: $27 per hour.
- Competitive salary and matching 401(k).
- Paid Time Off: 2.15 hours for every 40 hours worked (~14 days), 7 paid holidays, and 2 floating holidays.
