Maintenance Technician – JLL

JLL is seeking a Facilities Engineer to join our Work Dynamics team in Bellevue, WA. In this role you will be responsible for the operation, maintenance, and optimization of building systems and facilities infrastructure for our client's portfolio. You will ensure safe, efficient, and reliable operation of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems while maintaining high standards of service delivery and client satisfaction.

• Perform routine maintenance and repairs on building systems, equipment, and facilities, including HVAC, plumbing, electrical systems, lighting, doors, and windows.
• Develop and implement preventive maintenance programs to proactively identify and address potential issues.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot equipment malfunctions and failures, taking corrective actions to resolve them efficiently.
• Receive and prioritize work orders or service requests; ensure proper documentation and timely completion of tasks.
• Conduct regular inspections of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems to identify issues or potential risks and address them promptly.
• Coordinate and supervise the work of external contractors and vendors for specialized repairs or maintenance services, ensuring adherence to quality standards and timely completion.
• Participate in an on‑call rotation for emergency response and be available to address urgent maintenance issues after hours or on weekends as required.

• Proven experience as a Maintenance Technician, preferably in a commercial real estate or facilities management environment.
• Knowledge of building systems including culinary equipment, HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and mechanical systems.
• Basic understanding of carpentry, painting, and general repair techniques.
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, blueprints, and diagrams.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem‑solving skills, with the ability to analyze issues and provide effective solutions.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact professionally with tenants and colleagues.
• Basic computer skills for maintaining work order logs and accessing relevant information.
• Physical stamina and flexibility to perform physical tasks, lift heavy objects (up to 50 pounds), and work in different weather conditions.
• Knowledge of health and safety regulations and practices.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.

• Vocational training or certification in maintenance or a relevant field.
• Experience in commercial real estate or facilities management.
• Knowledge of specialized maintenance systems and equipment.

• Salary: $75,000 to $104,000 per year (estimated; final compensation may differ based on qualifications, location, market conditions, and internal considerations).
