Hyatt Regency Bellevue on Seattle's Eastside is searching for a skilled and reliable Maintenance Mechanic to join our team and provide excellent service.

The Maintenance Mechanic possesses strong troubleshooting skills in all areas of maintenance in: guest rooms, meeting spaces, and lobby areas, as well as back-of-house areas including kitchen, laundry, electrical, mechanical, and HVAC systems. This role will also perform preventative maintenance on major equipment and systems. Ability to read blueprints and schematics is also preferred.

Basic Job Duties and Expectations:

• Responds to guest request calls as needed
• Performs routine repairs public area and guest rooms
• Performs ongoing maintenance and repairs on:
  • Kitchen equipment such as ranges, ovens, tilt-skillets, and mixers
  • Laundry equipment including washers, dryers, folders, ironers, and other equipment in the Laundry Department
  • HVAC equipment such as air handlers, VAVs, and exhaust fans.
• Creates and submits purchase requisitions for approval to maintain adequate stock of tools and materials needed to perform job duties
• Acts as a part of the emergency response team at the hotel, as necessary, in the event of an emergency

The hourly rate range for this position is from $33 – $37.27/hour.

• A minimum of 5 years in hospitality maintenance experience
• Refined verbal communication skills
• A true desire to satisfy the needs of others in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to work AM or PM shifts, holidays, and weekends
• Extensive electrical, mechanical, and plumbing experience needed
