whatyou’ll do:
- operate various heavy equipment like dozers, front-end loaders, excavators, backhoes and other related equipment.
- follow msha/osha safety procedures.
- each day perform thorough pre and post inspection of the equipment.
- safely and efficiently operate the equipment to prevent accidents and damage of property.
- minimum of 3 years experience with a variety of heavy equipment.
- a self-starter who can
1) work independently, diligently and responsibly with minimal supervision
2) work as a member of a team
3) manage their time wisely
4) multi-task
5) meet a deadline. - have basic mechanical working knowledge of heavy equipment to perform minor repairs on the equipment and then report larger repairs to the appropriate parties.
- be physically capable of performing job tasks including safely lifting equipment.
- strong work ethic, the ability and desire to work outdoors in a variety of weather conditions.
- honest, responsible and trustworthy with confidential information.
- the ability to represent the company in a professional and ethical manner.
- $35.00 to $44.00 per hour.
