S&C Concrete Services is a high quality concrete placement company which specialises in the commercial and distribution sectors throughout Australia, but also has a depth of experience in the retail and housing markets. We are currently seeking experienced Formwork Carpenters / Finishers to join our team in Bellevue in a full time position. Applicants must have at least 2 years' experience working in a similar role.
Duties and
Responsibilities include:
- Read and interpret drawings, sketches and plans to determine dimensions, shape and design.
- Ready materials by measuring and marking cut lines, using ruler, pencil, chalk, and marking gauge.
- Shape and/or cut materials to precise measurements and assemble boards, timber or plywood to the necessary size, while building a wooden form in the shape of the structure.
- Use of various hand tools, machines and equipment.
- Assisting with pours to ensure integrity of formwork.
- Remove damaged or defective sections of wooden structures and repair or replace as required.
A salary between $78,000 - $85,000 will be offered to the successful candidates. Sponsorship may be available to the right candidate.
