Role OverviewWe’re looking for a motivated Synthetic Turf Installer to join Washington Landscaping, a division of United Services Northwest. This role focuses on installing premium synthetic turf systems across residential and commercial properties. You’ll be part of a fast‑paced installation team responsible for site prep, base work, turf installation, and finishing details. This is a hands‑on role ideal for someone with construction or landscaping experience who enjoys working outdoors, solving problems, and delivering clean, high‑quality finished products.
There is strong opportunity to grow into Lead Installer or Crew Lead roles.
- Perform site preparation including excavation, grading, and base installation
- Install synthetic turf systems including cutting, seaming, securing, and infill
- Assist with drainage, edging, and finish work to ensure long‑lasting installations
- Support other landscape construction tasks as needed
- Load and prepare trucks with tools, materials, and equipment for each job
- Ensure job readiness to avoid delays or return trips to the shop
- Maintain tools, equipment, and vehicles in clean and working condition
- Communicate effectively with project managers and team members
- Document job progress, materials used, and completed work
- Submit receipts, logs, and required documentation in a timely manner
- Represent the company professionally on job sites and while driving
- Follow all safety procedures and job site protocols
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment
- Minimum 1+ year of construction, landscaping, or related field experience
- Valid driver’s license with clean driving record
- Ability to lift up to 75–100 lbs and perform physical labor daily
- Comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions
- Strong work ethic, reliability, and positive attitude
- Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team
- Experience with synthetic turf installation
- Background in excavation, landscaping, or hardscape construction
- Experience operating equipment (skid steer, plate compactor, etc.)
- Interest in growing into a leadership or foreman role
Full-time, year-round work. Monday–Friday schedule with optional weekend overtime. Outdoor, physically demanding work environment. Projects across the greater Puget Sound area.
