Plantman Equipment, a leading WA-based provider of rental and sales equipment to the mining, earthmoving, and construction industries, is seeking a motivated and reliable Trades Assistant / Boilermaker to join our Build Shop Team in Bellevue.

Working alongside experienced tradespeople, you will be involved in the manufacture, assembly, and fit‑out of a wide range of specialised service vehicles, service trucks, field maintenance units, and mining support equipment. No two builds are the same, providing a diverse and hands‑on role with plenty of opportunities to learn new skills and gain valuable industry experience.

• Assist with the fabrication and assembly of specialised service vehicles and mining equipment
• Support the build and fit-out of service truck modules and field maintenance units
• Perform welding, cutting, grinding, drilling, and general fabrication duties
• Assist with the installation of tanks, pumps, reels, toolboxes, handrails, guards, and associated equipment
• Carry out modifications and repairs to mining and construction equipment
• Work closely with the Build Shop Team to meet production schedules and quality standards
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organised work area

• Previous experience as a Trades Assistant or within a fabrication workshop environment (Preferred)
• Experience using hand and power tools
• Welding and fabrication experience desirable but not essential
• Strong work ethic and willingness to learn
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
• Reliable, punctual, and safety-focused
• Strong attention to detail and pride in workmanship
• Current WA Driver's License
• Reliable transport to and from work
• Forklift ticket desirable but not essential
