Yardperson

LGC Equipment Hire is expanding and looking for a Yardperson who is dedicated to going the extra mile and delivering exceptional customer service to our clients. We are seeking individuals who take pride in their work and understand the importance of timely, safe, and professional service within the construction and infrastructure sectors.

This is a casual position with the opportunity to transition to full‑time employment. The successful candidate will be responsible for run ups and returns of equipment, general tidiness of the yard, ensuring proper loading and restraining of equipment on vehicles, and assisting with the servicing and cleaning of equipment.

Reporting to the Team Leader, your role will be to:

• Load and unload equipment
• Maintain the cleanliness of equipment
• Inspect assets upon return from the customer
• Refuel assets and carry out maintenance / minor repairs in a timely manner
• Assist in maintaining effective stock control of assets
• Foster relationships with key contractors
• Undertake general housekeeping and yard duties

Along with a positive attitude & high regard for safety, our ideal candidate will have:

• EWP licence (highly regarded)
• Current driver's licence
• Experience in loading & unloading of equipment
• Ability to work autonomously and be self‑motivated
