Lube Technician

Dealership: L0436 Michael's Toyota of Bellevue

Entry Level Technician – Pay at $19 flat rate. Schedule is on a rotation and will include some Saturdays. This position is located onsite in Bellevue WA and reports to the Service Manager.

• Basic mechanical understanding of an automobile.
• Preferred experience as an express/quick lube technician, but not required.
• Experience operating several cars, light trucks, and vans; ability to drive both manual and automatic transmissions.
• A team player focused on providing outstanding customer service.
• Acceptable driving record and a valid driver’s license in your state of residence.

• Perform work as outlined on the repair order with efficiency and accuracy, observing Lithia and manufacturer standards.
• Diagnose the cause of malfunction.
• Complete all work according to the applicable safety requirements.
• Road‑test vehicles to ensure quality of repair work.
• Record time spent on repairs using company time clocking procedures.
• Document work performed on the repair order and record test procedures/results.
• Maintain an inventory of normal mechanical tools (screwdrivers, wrenches, socket wrenches, pliers, hammers, chisels, punches, and other required tools).
• Return special tools to their proper place when finished.
• Maintain an organized and clean workspace, completing a stall cleaning every day.
• Ensure vehicles are returned to customers in the same condition as received.
• Complete all required training.
• Acquire and maintain manufacturer and ASE certifications by completing the necessary and required training.
• Participate in and apply technical training as assigned by management.
• Review technical bulletins and other publications as assigned by management.
• Constructively communicate with other dealership personnel to satisfy customer needs.
• Report to management any situation or condition that jeopardizes safety, welfare, or integrity of the dealership, its personnel, or customers.
• Maintain personal grooming, hygiene, and uniform standards according to departmental policies.

Flat rate pay range for this role is $19‑$21 per flagged hour. This is a flat rate position that is also eligible for short‑term and/or long‑term incentives as part of total compensation.
