Key Responsibilities include, but are not limited to

• Mustbewillingtoworkovertimeonweekends,holidays,andafter-hourswhenon call
• Makedailymechanicalcheckonequipmentinthe Mechanical Room ,Roof,HVAC,EMSsystems,refrigerated cases and walk-ins. etc.
• Maintainallrefrigeration,HVAC,EMSsystems,electrical,andmechanicalsystemsandmakenecessaryrepairs.
• Performs preventative maintenance tasks, leak checks, inspections and records required information and maintainsjurisdictionallyapplicablerecords,EPAformsandrequireddocumentationinbothpaperformatstore and electronic in Corrigo and Trakref.
• Monitorspreventivemaintenanceworkdonebyoutsidecontractorsandnotifies Area Refrigeration Managerof  issues or problems with outside contractors.
• Responsiblefortroubleshootingrefrigeration,HVAC,mechanicalandelectricalproblems,performingrepairs, documenting solutions and recommending further action.
• Maintainahightechnicallevelintroubleshootingandmaintenanceofmechanicalandelectricalequipment.
• Managecommunicationsforservicecallsinatimelymannerasrequired.
• Maintaincurrentlicense,inspection,permit,andcertificaterequirementstomeetallstateandlocalcodes.
• OperatesEMSbuildingcontrolsandautomationsystems.
  
  Finetuneoperatingparameters.
  
  Adjustsetpointsand schedules. Fully understand and modify building control sequences and operates the EMS / BMS systems.
• Performavarietyofadministrativetaskssuchas:orderingmaterialandwritingpurchaseorders,anddataentry for work reports and refrigerant leak reports via company supplied electronics.
• Performalldutiesinatimely,efficient,&professional manner.
• Maintainaneat,cleanandsafeworkareainmechanicalroom,roof,service vehicle, etc.

• High Schooldiplomaorequivalent.
  
  Graduate of Refrigeration/Mechanicalschoolorcompletionofaminimum of three years apprenticeship .

• Minimumofthreeyearsin Grocery Refrigerationand HVACrelatedwork.

• Excellentverbalandwrittencommunication skills.
• Abletoperformdutieswithahighdegreeofaccuracyandcaretoavoidmechanicalbreakdowns.
• Abletorespondtodirectandradiorequestsassoonas possible.
• Abletomaintainproperneatuniformappearanceof Companyprovidedworkshirtandemployeeprovidedclean blue jeans without holes or tears.
• Wear required Personal Protective Equipmentasrequiredincludingarcflashandsafetyglasses .
• Mustbecomputerliterate. Mustpossessavaliddriver’slicense.

Thepayrangeis $50.00to $62.00perhour,butnolessthanthelocalminimumwage.

Startingrateswillvarybasedon things like location, experience, qualifications, and the terms of any applicable collective bargaining agreement.

Dependent on length of service, hours worked and any applicable collective bargaining agreement, benefits include medical, dental, vision, disability and life insurance, sick pay (accrued based on hours worked), PTO/Vacation pay (accruedbasedonhoursworked),paid holidays(between7-9daysannually),bereavementpay,andretirementbenefits (pension and/or 401k eligibility).
