Position Summary
This position will support home health and hospice services in North King County. It is responsible for providing support services under the supervision of appropriate professional staff to assist clients, families, or caregivers in achieving physical and emotional comfort in accordance with State and Federal Regulations. The role is an entry‑level patient care support position that operates under limited supervision and requires a service‑oriented individual with strong interpersonal skills to deliver care and services to patients from diverse ethnic and social groups.
Independent decision‑making is expected in the execution of daily routine duties.
- High School graduate or GED
- Washington State Certified Nursing Assistant license (CNA)
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Technical training in a related field (required); home health or hospice experience (preferred)
- One (1) year of Certified Nursing Assistant experience
- Current Washington State driver’s license and proof of a safe driving record that meets established MHS standards

Pay and Benefit ExpectationsWe provide a comprehensive benefits package, including competitive salary, medical, dental, and retirement benefits, and paid time off. The pay scale for this position is $23.61 - $39.01 USD. Pay is influenced by factors such as skill set, level of experience, and certifications or education. If this position is associated with a union contract, pay will reflect the appropriate step on the pay scale aligned with the applicant’s years of experience.
