** The Opportunity
** As a
** Senior Engineering Manager
** for Search Mobile, you will lead and scale the engineering team responsible for building Slack's next generation of mobile search experiences. You will drive the technical strategy and execution for Core Search and AI Search—all optimized for the mobile form factor.  You will be instrumental in:
* ** Leading a high-performing mobile engineering team
** across iOS and Android platforms, fostering a culture of technical excellence, user empathy, and innovation
* ** Driving the product roadmap
** from concept to launch, working closely with product managers, designers, and cross-functional partners to deliver mobile-first Search experiences features
* ** Making critical trade-offs
** between performance, battery life, data usage, and feature richness—understanding that mobile constraints require thoughtful engineering decisions

** including offline support, accessibility, responsive UI, and platform-specific design patterns
