Sr Software Engineer - Computing

Our Software Engineers are end‑to‑end owners who design, build, and deliver data‑focused products for stakeholders. The High‑Performance Computing team powers the core bidding platform by supplying large amounts of user and graph data, ensuring availability, freshness, and quality.

• Work on system‑level optimization of throughput and network bandwidth, and apply probabilistic algorithms to support scaling of user targeting data.
• Own end‑to‑end software lifecycle: research, experimentation, architecture, coding, quality assurance, monitoring, maintenance, continuous optimization, and automation.
• Build and maintain large‑scale distributed systems coordinating thousands of servers in cloud and on‑prem data centers, handle petabyte‑scale data challenges, machine learning, visualizations, and interactive user interfaces.
• Mentor and provide technical leadership to peers; help raise engineering standards.

• Minimum 6+ years of professional experience in high‑impact software development.
• Hands‑on experience with technologies such as .NET Core & C#, Java, Linux, networking, streaming systems, No
  
  SQL databases, and distributed systems.
• Deep expertise at the intersection of distributed systems, high‑performance computing, mathematics, and advertising; experience building large‑scale systems in an ad ecosystem.
• Understanding of Agile development methodology and practices.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in computer science or a related engineering field, or equivalent experience.

• Strong foundation in engineering fundamentals; confident problem‑solver and pragmatic evaluator of trade‑offs.
• Proven track record of building distributed systems that remain online and reliable at scale.
• Collaborative mindset with respect for diverse perspectives; fosters inclusive environment.
• Creative thinker who learns quickly and is willing to invent solutions instead of relying on legacy practices.

Base salary range: $124,900–$228,900 USD. Employees may receive variable compensation, stock‑based incentives, and other performance‑based awards.
