Senior Software Development Engineer, AWS Glue

AWS Data Integration group provides rapidly growing, industry‑acclaimed cloud services in big data and analytics. We focus on Connectivity and Zero‑ETL for Glue and Athena, building next‑generation data integration and replication services that enable customers to seamlessly connect SaaS application data with transactional data lakes and data warehouses.

• Build large‑scale distributed systems.
• Own ownership, delivery, and bias for action in a fast‑paced environment.
• Innovate and invent within an agile, collaborative environment.
• Continuously learn and expect more from yourself and others.
• Enhance operational posture and efficiency by leveraging automation and agentic solutions, developing on top of existing blocks where necessary.

• 5+ years of professional software development experience.
• 5+ years of programming with at least one programming language.
• 5+ years of leading design or architecture of new and existing systems (design patterns, reliability, and scaling).
• Experience as a mentor, tech lead, or engineering team leader.

• 5+ years of full software development life cycle experience, including coding standards, code reviews, source control, build processes, testing, and operations.
• Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent.

Base salary range: $ – $ USD annually (location: Seattle, WA, Bellevue).
