Amazon Air Cargo is looking for a Sr. Salesforce Developer interested in revolutionizing customer relationship management (CRM) for the air freight industry. This role will think big about how emerging technology can streamline the customer experience and then build those technologies into Amazon Air Cargo's Salesforce instance and other tools. This role requires ownership of the end-to-end product/feature development, including customer/stakeholder engagement, requirements definition, project management/communication, and development to operate  ideal candidate has experience building CRM products and Application Programming Interfaces (API) from scratch with minimal guidance.

Key job responsibilities

- Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent.
- Experience in communicating with executives to describe software product features, technical designs, and product strategy.
- Experience leading the design, build and deployment of complex and performant (reliable and scalable) software solutions in production.
- 5+ years of Salesforce Development experience, utilizing Apex, Visualforce, Lightning component frameworks, triggers, batch Apex, and Salesforce APIs.
- 3+ years of designing or architecting (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems.

- Knowledge of engineering practices and patterns for the full software/hardware/networks development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, certification, and livesite operations.
- Experience taking a leading role in building complex software or computing infrastructure that has been successfully delivered to customers.
- Experience programming with at least one modern language such as C++, C#, Java, Python, Golang, Power Shell, Ruby.

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $136,100/year in our lowest geographic market up to $235,200/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
