Target cash compensation range: $,382 USD Annually. We are committed to providing competitive, market‑informed compensation. The cash compensation above includes base salary, variable commission for employees in eligible roles, and annual bonus targets for eligible roles. In addition to cash compensation, all full‑time iSpotters are eligible to participate in iSpot’s equity plan to receive stock options. Non‑exempt roles will also be eligible for (pre‑approved) overtime pay.

Individual compensation packages are influenced by different factors unique to each candidate, including their skills, experience, qualifications and other job‑related reasons.

As a Senior SDE, you are a foundational pillar of our engineering team. You don’t just write code; you own entire domains, drive scalable solutions, and act as a "go‑to" expert.

We are currently looking for an AI‑native engineer—someone who views AI not as a novelty, but as a core component of their development lifecycle—to help lead our mission‑critical data evolution, and contributing to the vision of Creative Audience and Outcomes Pillar.

• Technical Excellence & Domain Ownership
  • Design domains with testability and multiple teams in mind, creating extensible and shareable codebases. Provide prescriptive code reviews that suggest more acceptable code patterns and contribute to company‑wide style guidelines.
  • Maintain a high standard of quality, set an example for the team, develop architecture for automation systems and debug complex issues within the CI/CD pipeline. Implement secure deployment strategies for large‑scale, high‑risk projects.
• AI‑Driven Productivity & Innovation
  • Act as an AI‑native engineer; actively explore and learn AI technologies that enhance team efficiency.
  • Lead adoption of AI tooling, pair with teammates, provide demos, and write documentation.
  • Bring creative solutions to complex, large‑scale projects and ensure contributions can be extended far into the future.
• Operational Excellence & Data Strategy
  • Propose and implement domain measurement solutions, lead RCA for complex incidents.
  • Design, build, maintain reliable data pipelines—authoring and orchestrating Airflow DAGs and leveraging Snowflake for large‑scale analytics.
  • Identify and reduce toil, automate repetitive manual tasks using platform engineering mindset.
  • Build internal networks to improve organizational speed, influence quality of technology solutions, remove obstacles.
  • Drive cost‑optimization strategy ensuring architectural decisions and cloud utilization are performant and cost‑efficient.
  • Align cross‑functionally with partners and stakeholders on project vision and strategy.
  • Mentor less experienced team members, inspire action, coach AI‑first mindset.
  • Handle personal conflicts and navigate ambiguity to reach strategic milestones.

• Significant experience developing software for shareable features across multiple engineering projects and leading small‑to‑mid‑sized technical initiatives.
• Proven ability to make high‑level architectural decisions and redesign legacy services for reliability and operability.
• Hands‑on platform engineering experience focused on internal developer experience, infrastructure abstraction, and self‑service capabilities.
• Expert knowledge of AWS (S3, Lambda, EC2, IAM).
• Technical expertise in Java, Spring Boot, MySQL, Snowflake, RabbitMQ (or similar), Apache Airflow, Kubernetes/EKS, Docker, CI/CD pipelines.
