Product Management Intern; Summer

Overview

As a Product Management Intern, you will join a team that works diligently to understand and solve our customers' most challenging problems.

• Deeply understand customer problem space and establish the rails for viable solution space
• Prototype and test early ideas with customers and engineers to validate direction before the team commits to a build
• Work with engineers and designers to ship features on the Databricks platform
• Own your project end‑to‑end – design, build, launch, and iterate on feedback
• Build with scale, quality, and security in mind from day one

• Pursuing a bachelor's or master's in computer science or a related engineering field, graduating Fall 2027 or Spring 2028
• Used AI tooling for both personal productivity and development projects
• First‑hand experience with SQL and/or Python
• Hands‑on and learn‑by‑doing mentality – happy to build, test, and iterate your way to an answer
• Analytical skills to make data‑driven decisions (e.g., analyzing product usage)
• Ability to simplify complex topics and communicate nuance to partners (engineers, customers, field) in both written and verbal form
• Excitement to solve ambiguous problems with a collaborative team
• Curiosity and constant learning mindset, exploring new technology, customer domain, or product corners you haven't touched

• Paid summer internship program (12 weeks)
• Mentor and manager support throughout the program
• Opportunity to ship features on the Databricks platform and work across multiple product areas (AI Platform, Genie, Machine Learning, Unity Catalog, Databricks SQL, ETL, Streaming, and EDA)
• Competitive hourly compensation ($54–$56 USD for SF Bay Area, $51.50–$53.50 USD for Bellevue)
