Job Description:

Intrinsic isseekinga skilled,self-motivated Technical Project Manager with prior experience inlargeenterprise,who is ready to rethink andrevolutionizehowthings are done.

This position requiresa high-performing individual who takes real ownership and consistentlydeliversforthe mission. Someone who acts without needing direction, is comfortable operating outside their comfort zone, leads by example, and holds themselves to a high standard of accountability.

Intrinsic is an innovative, fast-moving small business supporting the Department of Defense/War.

This position will work directly with the CEO and CTO. Youwon’tbe insulated from decision-making,butbe in the room, contributing, learning how the business operates, and helping shape direction in real time. This is a rare opportunity to work alongside the founders and see how a technology company is built from the inside.

In this role, you willleadhighly talentedengineering teamsto buildmodern AI applications,custom machine learningsystems, and containerized edge solutions for the aerospace and defense sector.

You’llpartner directly with engineers and end users to deliver impactful products from the ground up.

You’llbe expected to move quickly, think critically, and execute across multiple domains.

You will support business development with technical depth, engagedirectly with customers, present in high-visibility settings, develop technical solutions and proposals, and lead engineering teams to delivermission-critical capabilities.

What You’llDo:

• Translate client needs into clear, actionable technology requirements
• Own and continuously refine the product backlog, prioritizing for maximum impact
• Lead Agile ceremonies and remove blockers to keep teams moving
• Work closely with the Intrinsic Leadership and Chief Technology Officer
• Guide and support a high-performing team of software engineersin an Agile setting
• Drive the design, development, and delivery of new products in an emerging market
• Support business development efforts with technical expertise
• Engage directly with customers and stakeholders
• Develop and present technical solutions and proposals
• Lead cross-functional teams to deliver mission-critical capabilities
• Dive in andnever stopgrowingyour skillsinthe latest technology

  DoD Secret clearance
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent experience
• Experience mentoring, coaching, and developing rising talent in software technology
• Strong organizational skills and accountability in decision-making
• Proven ability tooperatein collaborative, high-performance environments
• Familiarity with web applications and microservice architectures
• Experience using Git in team environments
• Background in areas such asDev Sec Ops , distributed systems, secure software, or application development

Preferred qualifications:

• Active Top Secret clearance, with SCI eligibility
• Master's degree in Computer Science, orrelatedfield
• Agile Scrum certifications
• Experiencedefining,buildingandcontinuouslyshipping production-grade productreleases
• Experience in software development using Kubernetes, Docker, and containerization strategies
• Experience in artificial intelligence and machine learning,leveraging AI agents for software development productivity
• 5+ years of software development experience (backend/ algorithmspreferred)
• Experience with modeling and simulation software
• 3+ years web application, API-driven, service-oriented architecture experience
• Experience with Agile, Lean, or Continuous Delivery (e.g., XP)
• Curiosity and ability to quickly learn emerging technologies
