Position
Sr. Technical Product Manager
Location:
Bellevue, WA (Onsite)
Duration: 1 year
- Embed with internal teams and external customers to understand workflows, pain points, and goals, and design and deploy solutions that fit.
- Build production‑quality code, integrations, and automations across AI/GenAI, data, and software platforms to solve concrete business problems.
- Prototype rapid prototypes and proofs‑of‑concept, iterate based on direct user feedback, and move them into reliable, scalable production.
- Integrate data pipelines, APIs, and third‑party systems, handling the real‑world messiness of enterprise environments.
- Partner with end users and stakeholders – run demos, gather requirements, troubleshoot live, and translate technical concepts into business value.
- Feed recurring pain points and friction back to product and engineering teams to influence the core roadmap.
- Monitor and improve solutions for reliability, performance, and adoption after launch – own outcomes, not just deliverables.
- Establish playbooks, standards, and tooling for the FDE function, and mentor junior engineers as the team grows.
- Act under some guidance from Product Engineer II and understand product requirements and user stories from customer discovery process.
- Create high/low level design documents and maintain necessary artifacts.
- Ensure requirements coverage of complex features with unit test cases.
- Troubleshoot development and production problems across multiple environments and operating platforms; provide technical guidance to the team to resolve challenging problems.
- Create effort estimation and ETA for deliverables, ensuring adherence to timelines/SLAs where applicable.
- Ensure code coverage and code quality by active participation in code reviews.
- Ensure adherence to best practices and standards, providing periodic status updates.
- Execute test cases and prepare release documents in line with the requirements.
- Ensure career progression for Associate Product Engineers via focused mentoring and grooming.
- Optimize efficiency, cost, and quality.
- Influence and improve customer satisfaction.
- Set OKRs for self/team and provide feedback on these goals of team members.
- 8+ years building and shipping software in production, with significant time owning complex, ambiguous projects end‑to‑end with minimal supervision.
- Technical depth: deep, hands‑on programming expertise (Python, JavaScript/Type Script, Java, or Go), strong system design judgment, and fluency working across the full stack and with APIs.
- Platform fluency: proven experience with data tools (SQL, pipelines, warehouses such as Snowflake/Databricks) and/or AI/GenAI tooling (LLMs, RAG, agentic workflows).
- Real breadth and quick adaptation to the right tool for the problem.
- Shipped solutions directly with end users, navigated enterprise complexity, and earned trust of senior stakeholders.
- Led projects, set technical direction, and raised the bar for those around, formally or informally.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication; translate fluidly between deep technical detail and executive‑level business value.
- Bias for action: ship, learn, iterate.
- Experience deploying AI/ML or LLM‑based solutions in an enterprise setting.
- Cloud experience (AWS, GCP, or Azure) and familiarity with CI/CD and containerization.
- Experience as a founding or early member of a new team or function.
- Telecommunications or large‑scale enterprise data domain knowledge.
- Adherence to engineering process and standards (coding standards)
