Job Description Overview We are seeking a Principal Development Lead to drive architecture, solution design, and technical direction for strategic network automation initiatives. This individual will work closely with business and technology stakeholders to translate operational requirements into scalable application architectures and detailed engineering designs for offshore development teams.
This role is highly consultative and requires a hands-on technical leader who can bridge business objectives, architecture strategy, and software engineering execution. Key Responsibilities
- Partner with engineering, product, and network operations stakeholders to define future-state automation solutions.
- Lead architecture and design sessions for enterprise applications supporting network automation and operational workflows.
- Create detailed technical designs, engineering standards, implementation plans, and development roadmaps.
- Guide offshore development teams through solution implementation, code reviews, and technical governance.
- Design and develop scalable APIs, microservices, and event-driven architectures.
- Establish best practices for software engineering, security, observability, and performance optimization.
- Review existing platforms and identify opportunities for modernization and automation.
- Collaborate with QA, Dev Ops, and platform teams to ensure end-to-end solution delivery.
- Provide technical leadership across multiple concurrent initiatives.
