Purple Drive
We are seeking a skilled SAP BTP CAP Developer to design and develop cloud-native applications and services on SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP) using the Cloud Application Programming Model (CAP).
The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in building scalable, API-first enterprise applications using Node.js or Java, modeling business data using CDS, and exposing secure OData/REST APIs. The role also requires experience with SAP BTP security, authentication, authorization, and multitenancy concepts.
Key ResponsibilitiesApplication Development:
- Design and develop cloud-native applications and microservices using SAP CAP on SAP BTP.
- Build scalable backend services using Node.js and Java.
- Develop reusable and maintainable enterprise-grade solutions.
Data Modeling:
- Design and implement data models using CDS (Core Data Services).
- Define entities, associations, validations, and business logic.
API Development:
- Expose and manage OData services and REST APIs.
- Implement API-first architecture principles for enterprise integrations.
SAP BTP Platform Integration:
- Work with SAP BTP services and cloud-native capabilities.
- Configure and manage authentication, authorization, role collections, and XSUAA security.
- Implement multitenancy support for SaaS applications.
Collaboration & Delivery:
- Collaborate with functional consultants, architects, and frontend developers.
- Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies including sprint planning, code reviews, and deployments.
- Ensure high-quality coding standards, testing, and documentation.

- 4+ years of experience in SAP development
- 2+ years of hands-on SAP CAP development experience preferred
