Arena Gameplay Designer

We are seeking a Gameplay Designer to contribute to the Boxer project, a PvP live service game. In this role, you will build out arenas, as well as gameplay systems and tools for dynamic events and interactables. This position involves working primarily in Unreal Engine 5 with proprietary tools and systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Create dynamic environmental and interactable gameplay systems and tools.
• Assist with asset integration and kit development tasks.
• Develop and utilize BP scripts to trigger events and gameplay workflows.
• Design and build out arenas for gameplay.
• Work to identify and fix bugs in a live service environment.
• Address replication within a network environment to ensure systems replicate properly.

Required Qualifications

• Demonstrated experience with Unreal Engine 5 (UE5) and Blueprints (BP).
• Proven experience in Gameplay Design.
• Experience shipping products that used Blueprints.
• Familiarity with live service game development.
• Knowledge of replication and replication systems.
• Experience creating environmental and interactable gameplay elements.
• Proficiency in bug fixing and triggering events.

Non-Technical Skills

• Ability to work independently, take direction, and execute tasks effectively.
• A sense of ownership and the drive to manage initiatives.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in Level Design, including building simple layouts and blockouts.
