We teach fun swim lessons, shoot through the water like torpedoes toward our swimmers’ goals, and are a team of fun-loving people serious about saving lives while having fun. Working at British Swim School you will:

- Help promote a life‑changing learning experience and grow with the team every day.
- Be trained to teach swim lessons to children and adults starting at 3 months old using the British Swim School aquatics program that is gentle, fun, and progressive.
- Be assigned to a class schedule developed by managers and interact with swimmers, parents, and/or guardians.
- Report directly to and support the Aquatics Manager and/or Business Owner(s).
- Instruct swimming lessons in accordance with British Swim School training and program standards, maintaining certifications throughout employment.
- Work a flexible schedule that may include evenings (3 pm - 7 pm), weekends (12 pm - 6 pm), and holidays as required by business needs.
- Work in an environment where noise levels are typically moderate to high and be in the water for the duration of the shift.
- High school diploma, equivalent, or in the process of completion.
- Enthusiastic personality.
- Comfortable in and around the water; strong swimming skills are a plus but can be taught and developed.
- Must maintain certifications throughout employment.
- Must complete all required British Swim School Aquatics‑specific training and testing.
- Experience working with children.
- Proficient swimmer with knowledge of all four strokes preferred.
- Customer service skills (1 year preferred).
- Enjoy working with children.
- Reliable transportation to the pool location.
- Lifeguarding/First Aid/CPR/AED Certification(s) preferred (can be obtained during training).
