The goal of the Planning & Performance (P&P) team within Amazon Air is to understand when and where customers require air transportation, develop plans to offer the fastest possible high quality delivery, work with stakeholders and operators on implementation, and ensure Amazon Air continues to exceed customer expectations.
The Amazon Air team is looking for a Senior Planner to lead network and capacity planning for Amazon's growing external Air Cargo business. Help us bring the speed and quality of Amazon delivery to domestic and international shippers!
Key job responsibilities- Design and operationalize product offerings for external Air Cargo customers leveraging the scale and flexibility of the Amazon Air network
- Drive the development of new processes and technology to optimize capacity allocation between internal and external customers
- Influence the long‑term network strategy
- Some travel required
- 5+ years of program or project management experience
- 5+ years of supply chain experience
- Experience using data and metrics to determine and drive improvements
- Experience owning program strategy, end to end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership
- 2+ years of driving process improvements experience
- 5+ years of cargo or passenger airline network planning or revenue management experience
