- Be available for around‑the‑clock shifts and extended periods away from home to accommodate freight movements.
- Valid commercial driver’s license (Class A, issued by state of residence).
- Medical qualification with DOT physical certification.
- At least one year of tractor‑trailer driving experience or graduation from a state‑certified truck driving school.
- Ability to read, write, understand English, and perform simple mathematical calculations for receipts, maps, road signs, logs.
- Working knowledge of vehicle safety and control systems.
- Knowledge of DOT regulations governing safe driving, hours of service, inspection, maintenance, and extended periods away from home.
- Must meet or exceed medical standards of the U.S. Department of Transportation; pass drug and alcohol tests.
