Primary PurposeThe Operations Account Specialist is responsible for daily tactical coordination with ChemPoint external operations providers according to approved procedures and under the direct supervision of the Operations Supervisor. Duties include inventory receipts and adjustments, dock to stock reporting, coordination of work orders to be filled by external providers and general support for operations/external providers related questions.
What You’ll Do- Identify, implement, and manage processes and process improvements to ensure the successful daily execution of all warehousing operations, partnering with cross‑functional teams and leaders to drive organization‑wide alignment and adoption.
- Partner directly with the Operations Supervisor and Operations Manager to ensure warehousing functions and processes align with and support departmental goals, including issue escalation and resolution.
- Establish and maintain effective relationships with warehousing service providers.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for warehouse providers on daily operational activities, including product tracking, inventory management, and approval processes.
- Audit and approve warehouse invoices to ensure accurate and timely payment.
- Hold internal and external stakeholders accountable to established warehouse processes, including proper receiving, storage, and outbound shipment procedures.
- Collaborate closely with Customer Service, Finance, Commercial, and Supply Chain teams to ensure seamless warehouse operations and customer satisfaction.
- Monitor warehouse provider performance against established service expectations and escalates issues as needed to appropriate stakeholders.
- Escalate warehousing loss claims and corrective action reports to the Operations Supervisor and support issue resolution efforts.
- Perform other related duties and responsibilities as assigned.
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution preferred, or an equivalent combination of education and relevant work experience.
- Degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Logistics, or a related field preferred.
- Previous experience in a warehousing, logistics, or distribution environment preferred.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize workload, manage multiple tasks, and meet deadlines in a fast‑paced environment.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate ideas, recommendations, and information through various communication channels.
- Demonstrated ability to adapt to changing priorities and effectively interact with customers, suppliers, and third‑party service providers.
- Ability to work independently while also contributing effectively within a collaborative team environment.
- Strong critical thinking, problem‑solving, and decision‑making skills with the ability to exercise sound judgment.
- Detail‑oriented with a focus on accuracy, process compliance, and continuous improvement.
- Ability to build and maintain positive working relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
This is a hybrid role in Bellevue, WA.
Pay and Benefits- The salary range for this position is $67,500 – $80,000 annually.
